Individuals
I work with people who feel something isn’t right and want that to change.
You might know you're having some difficulty managing your mood, sleep, anxiousness or worry or you might not be sure what’s going on but you have noticed you're –
- Withdrawing from relationships or noticing you keep having the same poor relationships
- Have difficulty setting limits in your relationships and feeling overwhelmed or
- Using distractions to cope – like working long hours, drinking or engaging in other substances more than you think is ok, maybe you are gambling, or binging, or
- Doing things / behaviours that aren't the usual you and you are not sure why or
- Making choices you don't recognise or
- Feeling your decisions are pointless or find yourself unable to decide
- Not quite sure who you are or what you value or
- You had a plan - but either that plan no longer fits or now your there you thought you would feel happy – but you’re not
- Or the world feels terrifying and it has for a long time but you are ready for this to change

Teens and Young Adults
I often say to the young people I work with you couldn’t pay me to be an adolescent again – it can be a tough time, school pressure, friends, sexuality, managing your parents, expectations about “what are you going to do with your life” and often just feeling crap about all of it.
This is also the time when glitches in our metal health begin to appear, finding yourself not wanting to go to school or hang out with friends or begin to wonder – what’s the point.
To manage this, it is important to have a supportive space to express your thoughts, feelings and experiences so that together we can work on ways to help you cope better or work through what is bothering you.
The earlier we work on what’s going on the quicker we get results, so this is a really important time to get help. I realise privacy is an important issue which we will discuss when we meet.
Jacqueline is a LGBTQIAP+ ally

Couples
Are you feeling your relationship is
- Struggling to adjust to a change such as a new baby, change of job etc
- Finding you aren’t communicating as you were or arguing more than you like?
- Feeling less connected?
- Wondering if it is worth staying together?
I understand discussing the parts of your relationship that aren’t working to someone outside of it, can be daunting.
Jacqueline understands and respects the broad diversity of and in relationships, together, in a supportive and non-judgmental way, we look at your current and past patterns of relating and most importantly communicating with each other. This allows us work through how you got to where you are and how we can make positive changes moving forward.

Where do I even begin … so much feels wrong
Sometimes when you look at websites you think well I have a bit of that, but also a bit of this … so will I fit?
For many years I worked with people living with complex mental health issues, in a community support program. From this, I understand that often poor mental health can be accompanied by trauma, addictions, unemployment, isolation or poor physical health.
I also understand that the impact of some mental health conditions can create social and occupational isolation and functional limitations and / or disability.
I am able to work across these domains you don’t need to fit into one category .. because as people we rarely do.
I am able to work with NDIS plans that self or plan managed

Thriving at Work
For many years I worked within the employment sector, supporting people return to work, managing and supervised teams - why is this helpful to you? - because I understand the process of returning to work, of changing career direction, of burning-out and I can think like your manager. I also understand HR policies and how to help you shift from just getting through the day to enjoying work again.

Clinical Supervision
Looking for a supervisor who is knowledgeable, informative but not intimidating?
Someone who works from a model of reflective practice?
I am a Board Approved Supervisor, while ensuring you are working towards the required competencies and tasks, we balance that with issues of self-efficacy, self-care and establishing practices to ensure career longevity and importantly developing into the clinician you wanted to be when you started this journey.
I also provide individual and group clinical supervision for mental health professionals. Having worked in multidisciplinary teams I understand the different lenses that can be at play in a mental health team. I understand the need to balance opportunities for debriefing, processing and obtaining clinical information, with developing ways to ensure you maximise self-care.
I have developed and delivered training for individuals and groups in the areas of personal, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills development.
Individual and group peer consultation and mentoring for mental health professionals.
